Toria Freeman established Lit Candle Co. during the uncertain times of COVID-19. She began by purchasing a lot of candles with the hope that the smells would create a therapeutic environment during her work from home experience. After so many scents, Toria believed she was innovative enough to create her own magnificent aromas. After conducting thorough research, she began crafting original scents from her own household. This is where the formation of Lit Candle Co. began. After extensive hours of sniffing and testing, she created an array of lovable scents made especially for you. Each hand crafted candle contains a piece of Toria's vibrant personality

Why Soy Wax

All candles are hand poured in small batches, to ensure product is given proper attention to smell beautifully and burn smoothly. Soy wax candles are better for the environment, unlike paraffin wax that emit higher CO2 levels. Soy candles are non-toxic and do not emit carcinogens. Soy candles are made from vegetable oil and burn longer than traditional candles. Depending on the size our candles burn 45-65 hours. Soy candles burn cleaner and do not produce as much black soot. 

We Proudly Wear Purple

Our logo has a purple ribbon and our brand color is purple for pancreatic cancer awareness. My business honors my dad who passed from this disease and we stand united with the many lives impacted by this disease.

In remembrance of my father and others who have battled or are currently fighting this battle, our company donates 10% of monthly sales to PanCan.org. It is my hope that these donations will put us a step closer to finding a cure to pancreatic cancer. I also encourage everyone to view the website think about donating directly to a wonderful cause.
